I have known and competed against coach Dino in our early years in age group chess tournaments. Later on, we trained together in the same varsity dormitory in college. I still remember how hard he worked on his endgame studies and his exhaustive opening repertoire which produced great results for him such as winning the NCAA MVP and achieving 2 IM (International Master) norms, amongst many notable achievements. He also helped me with my training to get my GM (Grandmaster) title in 2008. He was my second in many tournaments when I was at the peak of my career. His dedication to the game of chess is remarkable. Undoubtedly, he can help players in any level become successful in chess.

Hi! I’m Rinoa Mariel Sadey and I’ve been a student of Coach Dino since 2019. He has helped me improve in all aspects of the game: openings, calculations, strategy, end game, and even in psychology; by finding the gaps and weaknesses in my chess and identifying the necessary steps to address them. With his guidance, I was able to attain the Woman National Master title at 16 years old. I genuinely believe that any player can benefit from his training.
